Makes Communicating Easier For People with Disabilities
With Speech Recognition, you can control your computer with your voice! Did you know that Microsoft offers enhanced Ease of Access software standard on Windows version 7 and Vista? You can now access speech recognition, magnifier, reader and other options that can increase accessibility to your computer.
To get started all you will need a microphone in conjunction with your computer to utilize this feature. Go to Start, Control Panel, Ease of Access, and Speech Recognition and follow the instructions and tutorials. With practice and learning the prompts, you can dictate letters, send email, open and close programs and switch applications.
